Movie Review: "Oz the Great and Powerful"

OK so now they're making prequels for classic stories...

I now bring you the review of Oz the Great and Powerful.

Starring James Franco (Oz), Mila Kunis (Theodora), Zach Braff (Finley), Rachel Weisz (Evanora), and Michelle Williams (Glinda) -- with all playing double roles as a wink to The Wizard of Oz.

This is a whimsical tale -- much like the original -- and tells the tale of how a man from Kansas ever became known as The Wizard of Oz.

I think the casting for this movie was well done, and they actually made it look like it was made around the time of the "sequel" with backdrops etc.

The best part however, was seeing how the Witches progressed to how they were initially shown in 1939.

This was an OKAY movie, all things considered.

QBF Rating: 3.0/5

#WednesdayReviews: "Love Wedding Repeat"

I've no clue what this movie is about, but it's got Olivia Munn in it, and the trailer was nice enough, so I'm guessing its another inoffensive romantic-comedy. So it's time to Love Wedding Repeat . From Google: "Alternate versions of the same wedding unfold as Jack ( Sam Claflin ) tries to make sure his little sister has the perfect wedding day."
