Movie Review: "Puss in Boots"

Puss in Boots was awesomeness!  Antonio Banderas + Salma Hayek (in either animated or real-life) seems to always = Epic Win.  I didn't even know it was in 3D until I showed up at the cinema, but would you believe it? ACTUAL 3D-ness. I never once felt cheated.

Movie Review: "Real Steel"

Wow. That was an awesome movie! Real Steel is a movie that works great as a kid's movie, AND as an adult's movie at the same time -- quite a rare feat to accomplish. Also of note, Hugh Jackman finally has a good movie outside of X-Men.

Movie Review: "Bridesmaids"

So after hearing that Bridesmaids was the female equivalent to The Hangover , and seeing the trailers (which looked good) I decided to check it out finally. Now it is a funny movie, but the trailer portrays it to be a very different movie (AKA: it's NOT like The Hangover).

Movie Review: "Æon Flux"

So I just watched Aeon Flux , and the first scene tells me that 99% of the world's population is gonna die (by a virus) in 2011! I guess all those nut-jobs doomsday prophets this year were inspired by the movie? ;-) Also, CharlizeTheron is pretty hot!

Movie Review: “Transformers: Dark of the Moon”

Transformers: Dark of the Moon was actually my favourite in the franchise so far! They replaced Megan Fox with a less hot chick, but countered that huge loss with ACTION, EXPLOSIONS, ACTION, and more ACTION. For those who don't recall, the only good part about watching the last installment ( Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen ) , was seeing Megan run in slow motion on an IMAX screen.

Movie Review: "X-Men: First Class"

Ah the last super-hero movie review, and the best in the genre this year – in my humble opinion. This reboot of the X-Men franchise (after the debacle that was X-Men: The Last Stand , and the disappointment of X-Men Origins: Wolverine ) takes us all the way back to the start of it all. And by start I mean Professor Xavier (Professor X to his friends) still had hair, could walk, and was a bit of a horny devil!
