#FridayReviews: "Justice League Dark: Apokolips War"

The DC Animated Movie Universe is coming to an end in  Justice League Dark: Apokolips War ! This is a sad moment, because for the most part these movies have been better than the cinematic live action movies we've watched (and sometimes enjoyed). They better end this well before the inevitable reboot... From Google: "Following the decimation of Earth, the Justice League regroups to take on Darkseid and save the remaining survivors."

#WednesdayReviews: "Sin City: A Dame to Kill For"

The Frank Miller classic Dark Horse Comics story got a horribly delayed (9 years!) sequel -- Sin City: A Dame to Kill For . Could it recapture the magic? From Google: "An anthology of stories about the inhabitants of Sin City, a fictional town in the US that has an unusually high crime rate owing to a corrupt administration."

#SundayReview: "Secretary"

This was recommended by Hedonism II of all places as one of the sexiest movies to watch during corona-virus social distancing, and it has a hella sexy poster. So, I checked it out. From Google: "Lee Holloway ( Maggie Gyllenhaal ), a young woman with a history of severe emotional problems, is released into the care of her overbearing parents following a stay at a mental institution. She finds work as a secretary for a rigid and demanding attorney, E. Edward Grey ( James Spader ), and starts dating the kind but dull Peter ( Jeremy Davies ). However, Lee soon realizes she's turned on by Grey's stern demeanor, and begins a sadomasochistic relationship with him."
