Happy 49th Birthday Jamaica! (AKA: Independence Day Reach Again)

Here's a musical tribute to the best country in the world! (Warts, corruption and all its faults notwithstanding.)

We've produced some of the best scholars, philosophers, businessmen, musicians, and athletes the world has ever known... and I am here to praise the land of my birth with some good reggae of course! - QBF

Throwback Thursday

Continuing the trend of mixed-up content days this week, I have a great oldie that is very dear to me: Bobby McFerrin's hit "Don't Worry Be Happy".

This song (& video) blew up coincidentally after a horrible hurricane named Gilbert mashed up Jamaica pretty badly, and could be heard on the radio constantly (and constantly on MTV). - QBF

NSFW Wednesday - Treat for the Ladies

Happy August ladies! Your monthly treat is Mr. Taye Diggs.

NSFW Wednesday

Okay, so the whole long holiday weekend in Jamaica made it pointless to do a NSFW Monday edition, as how are you gonna sneak a peek at work at all the goodies... and not be at work? I wouldn't cheat you of your illicit fun people!

Without further ado, here are some lovely artistically clad ladies to drool over admire. - QBF

Music I Like

Here's the Dubtonic Kru's song "Sunshine Girl". It's got a great melody, and stars my good sistren as one of the sunshine girls (she also runs AXE-S Media, which you should checkout). - QBF
