Star Wars: The Last Jedi picks up right after the end of Episode 7, so I get the feeling that they're turning up the pressure and stakes in this venerable series. No breaks in the action! From Google: "Rey develops her newly discovered abilities with the guidance of Luke Skywalker, who is unsettled by the strength of her powers. Meanwhile, the Resistance prepares to do battle with the First Order."
