The Quick Brown Fox Jumps Over The Lazy Dog

Okay, so Brazil didn't win the World Cup even though they hosted the #GreatestWorldCupEver ... They lost historically to Germany 7-1 in the semi-finals... They then managed to lose  a horribly officiated grudge match with the Netherlands for third place -- while mortal enemies Argentina and Germany were in the final in Rio! Of course, Germany beat Argentina 1-0 in a closely fought final. Now, the good news! 1) After crashing out of the tournament in such dramatic fashion changes will be made. The beautiful game -- "jogo bonito" -- will be back!! 2) Brazil still holds the lead for World Cups won with 5, and is the only team to have played in every tournament!! 3) It's time for a sexy Monday with some football babes!!

This is my last post regarding World Cup 2010 in South Africa. I experienced the highest highs, and the lowest lows in watching this month-long tournament. I challenge you to find any other event on this planet that is guaranteed to make you feel something -- good and bad! This has been a World Cup of many firsts, again good and bad: First held in Africa. First to have 5 South American squads in  the second round. First where the Netherlands and Spain didn't spectacularly implode (even if they got a little help). First where I questioned the financial dealings/sanity/stupidity of soooo many referees. First where either the Netherlands or Spain will win the cup! I'm still in shock that Brazil was robbed lost to the Dutch squad, but I know that they also didn't play their best game that day, and that the better team loses sometimes. "The ball is round." Anyways, before the kick-off of the finals, feast your eyes on these Spanish beauties below, and long ...

This is an extra special episode of my "Body-Painted Football Babes Bonanza"!! Not only because it is #20 (of a 21 event series), but because it features the Netherlands , the toughest opponent so far in this World Cup tournament for the Football Powerhouse: Brazil . Their match kicks off in approximately 60 minutes, and should be the best of the entire tournament. Good luck A Seleção !!! - QBF UPDATE: Well, if not for the referee Brazil would be well on their way for a further unprecedented 6th world championship. It was either ineptness, or money was well spent -- but in any case A Seleção heads home early to get ready for the 2014 tournament in Brazil. Someone suggested Brazil was setup because "the powers that be" didn't want them winning two in a row (as they would win on their home turf), but that seems too big a conspiracy theory for me. - QBF Dutch Girl: (Click to enlarge.) Episode #15 of my "Body-Painted Football Babes Bonanza" stars the Swiss Confederation fresh off their defeat of Spain , and with another huge game for them against Chile today to get to the Round of 16.
