#SundayReviews: "Mission: Impossible - Fallout"

So the Scientology spokesman is back in the fifth Impossible Mission Force film in this famous franchise. The aforementioned Mission: Impossible - Fallout gives Tom another chance to break out into an insane sprint and to do some really crazy stunts. From Google: "Ethan Hunt ( Tom Cruise ) and the IMF team join forces with CIA assassin August Walker ( Henry Cavill) to prevent a disaster of epic proportions. Arms dealer John Lark and a group of terrorists known as the Apostles plan to use three plutonium cores for a simultaneous nuclear attack on the Vatican, Jerusalem and Mecca, Saudi Arabia. When the weapons go missing, Ethan and his crew find themselves in a desperate race against time to prevent them from falling into the wrong hands."

#SundayReviews: "The Man from U.N.C.L.E."

Based on the television series of the same name  The Man from U.N.C.L.E. is supposed to be a mix of espionage, action, and comedy. Can this remake recapture the magic? From Google: "At the height of the Cold War, a mysterious criminal organization plans to use nuclear weapons and technology to upset the fragile balance of power between the United States and Soviet Union. CIA agent Napoleon Solo ( Henry Cavill ) and KGB agent Illya Kuryakin ( Armie Hammer ) are forced to put aside their hostilities and work together to stop the evildoers in their tracks. The duo's only lead is the daughter of a missing German scientist ( Alicia Vikander ), whom they must find soon to prevent a global catastrophe."

#MovieReview: "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice"

Now that I've seen  Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice twice, I feel prepared to speak about it officially. This should have been a bad movie. Think of all the missteps they made, and all the casting decisions that most people cringed at. They threw everything but the kitchen sink into this film in order to get the DC Cinematic Universe rolling at full speed... Starring: Amy Adams (Lois Lane),  Ben Affleck (Batman), Diane Lane (Martha Kent),  Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman), Henry Cavill (Superman), Holly Hunter  (Senator Finch), Jeremy Irons (Alfred Pennyworth), Jesse Eisenberg (Lex Luthor), and Laurence Fishburne (Perry White).

Movie Review: "Man of Steel"

So here comes another DC Comics franchise reboot, following in the steps of Batman and (ugh) Green Lantern. Some say he's the most powerful superhero ever created. Others say he can leap tall buildings in a single bound, is faster than a speeding bullet, and more powerful than a locomotive. All I know is, we call him the Stig Man of Steel .

Movie Review: "Immortals"

Let us return to a time when men were men, women dressed even more skimpily, and gods minded their own damn business. It is a time of " Immortals " -- starring Henry Cavill (the future Superman, no, seriously) as our protagonist: Theseus, and Mickey Rourke as our antagonist: Hyperion (how cool a name is that!?). Both Theseus and Hyperion are characters from Greek mythology, and while both had their stories altered, Hyperion's story was drastically altered.
