#FridayReviews: "Da 5 Bloods"

Spike Lee wants to take us back into Vietnam after the American War has ended for decades. It's time to checkout Da 5 Bloods . From Google: "Four African American vets ( Delroy Lindo , Clarke Peters , Norm Lewis , Isiah Whitlock Jr ) battle the forces of man and nature when they return to Vietnam seeking the remains of their fallen squad leader ( Chadwick Boseman ) and the gold fortune he helped them hide."

#SundayReviews: "21 Bridges"

Black Panther (Wakanda Forever!) is now playing a cop in New York City in 21 Bridges . Sure, why not, the trailer looked interesting enough! From Google: "After uncovering a massive conspiracy, an embattled NYPD detective ( Chadwick Boseman ) joins a citywide manhunt for two young cop killers ( Stephan James & Taylor Kitsch ). As the night unfolds, he soon becomes unsure of who to pursue -- and who's in pursuit of him. When the search intensifies, authorities decide to take extreme measures by closing all of Manhattan's 21 bridges to prevent the suspects from escaping."

#SundayReviews: "Black Panther"

And so the Marvel movie machine rolls on, this time with the King of Wakanda, T'Challa ... AKA: the Black Panther ! I always enjoyed this character in the comics, but I will admit I was never exposed to a lot of his stories growing up. However, I am heartened by all the hype and excitement this African super hero has garnered. From Google: "After the death of his father, T'Challa ( Chadwick Boseman ) returns home to the African nation of Wakanda to take his rightful place as king. When a powerful enemy suddenly reappears ( Michael B. Jordan ), T'Challa's mettle as king -- and as Black Panther -- gets tested when he's drawn into a conflict that puts the fate of Wakanda and the entire world at risk. Faced with treachery and danger, the young king must rally his allies and release the full power of Black Panther to defeat his foes and secure the safety of his people."
