The Quick Brown Fox Jumps Over The Lazy Dog

Everyone wants their own cinematic universe, so the Wizarding World continues its expansion with Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald . I wasn't impressed by the first attempt, so let's see how this second film fares. From Google: "In an effort to thwart Grindelwald's ( Johnny Depp ) plans of raising pure-blood wizards to rule over all non-magical beings, Albus Dumbledore ( Jude Law ) enlists his former student Newt Scamander ( Eddie Redmayne ), who agrees to help, unaware of the dangers that lie ahead. Lines are drawn as love and loyalty are tested, even among the truest friends and family, in an increasingly divided wizarding world."

Ever since the Marvel Cinematic Universe, everybody wants their own to play with (and make billions from), and so the J.K. Rowling's Wizarding World now exists as well. Its first extension since the Harry Potter series: Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them . Starring Eddie Redmayne , Dan Fogler , Katherine Waterston , and Colin Farrell , can they recapture the magic of Harry Potter? From Google: The year is 1926, and Newt Scamander has just completed a global excursion to find and document an extraordinary array of magical creatures. Arriving in New York for a brief stopover, he might have come and gone without incident, were it not for a No-Maj (American for Muggle) named Jacob, a misplaced magical case, and the escape of some of Newt's fantastic beasts, which could spell trouble for both the wizarding and No-Maj worlds.
