Movie Review: "Thor"

The movie which raised my hopes for the aforementioned Green Lantern.

A surprisingly (hammer) smashing good time!

Thor had great characters (which matched their comic counterparts), a good storyline (by J. Michael Stracynski), and awesome action sequences (paying attention here DC Comics?).

Another super hero origin story, but this time with a twist: Thor starts out all-powerful & a super-skilled bad-ass, and then goes in the opposite direction (you'll understand what I mean when you see it), but it makes for a better understanding of the character. Also, they changed Asgardian “magic”, to being technology light-years ahead of human comprehension – which sounded like a bad idea to me at first, but it actually works. In conclusion, I think the thunder god is rated a “Watch”.

QBF Rating: 3.5/5.0

PS: Heimdall is a MEGA STAR!!

PPS: The teaser at the end references both Captain America & The Avengers.

#WednesdayReviews: "Love Wedding Repeat"

I've no clue what this movie is about, but it's got Olivia Munn in it, and the trailer was nice enough, so I'm guessing its another inoffensive romantic-comedy. So it's time to Love Wedding Repeat . From Google: "Alternate versions of the same wedding unfold as Jack ( Sam Claflin ) tries to make sure his little sister has the perfect wedding day."
