So the latest Neil Blomkamp sci-fi dystopian future film is out: Chappie . I'm really thinking Neil doesn't see a bright future for South Africa! It stars  Sharlto Copley (of course) as Chappie, Dev Patel (as the creator), Ninja (as Ninja), Yo-Landi Visser (as Yo-Landi), Jose Pablo Cantillo (as Amerika), and Hugh Jackman (as the jealous creator). What happens when a robot designed for police work in the tough streets of Johannesburg, is reprogrammed with actual artificial intelligence, but raised from "infancy" by criminals? Hi-Jinks!

I went to see the new Will Smith and Margot Robbie film, Focus . I wasn't expecting much, and was just hoping to get a few laughs to make up for using my free ticket on it. I'd heard the first half of the film was gold, and that the stars had incredible chemistry. Would this prove true?

So this is it. In Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith we finally see the fall of Anakin Skywalker and the Jedi Order, and the rise of Darth Vader and the Sith Empire. This is by far the darkest of all the films in the series, taking the crown from The Empire Strikes Back quite handily.

Ah, the first "prequel" in the Machete Order comes in at #3: Star Wars Episode II - Attack of the Clones . It really does make the story flow much better ignoring The Phantom Menace entirely. Jumping backward in time after Luke learned who his father really was, we see the beginning of the love affair that doomed a galaxy: Anakin Skywalker & Padme Amidala, but which also conceived a new hope as well (see what I did there?).
