Movie Review: "Chappie"

So the latest Neil Blomkamp sci-fi dystopian future film is out: Chappie. I'm really thinking Neil doesn't see a bright future for South Africa!

It stars Sharlto Copley (of course) as Chappie, Dev Patel (as the creator), Ninja (as Ninja), Yo-Landi Visser (as Yo-Landi), Jose Pablo Cantillo (as Amerika), and Hugh Jackman (as the jealous creator).

What happens when a robot designed for police work in the tough streets of Johannesburg, is reprogrammed with actual artificial intelligence, but raised from "infancy" by criminals?

Hi-Jinks!

Let me first warn you, once you accept that the company which makes the robots is the most inept in the history of humanity, truly accept it, you can enjoy this movie.

It has a lot deeper philosophical things going on here if you pay attention closely, but it's still a FUN WATCH.

#WednesdayReviews: "Love Wedding Repeat"

I've no clue what this movie is about, but it's got Olivia Munn in it, and the trailer was nice enough, so I'm guessing its another inoffensive romantic-comedy. So it's time to Love Wedding Repeat . From Google: "Alternate versions of the same wedding unfold as Jack ( Sam Claflin ) tries to make sure his little sister has the perfect wedding day."
