Movie Review: "Fast & Furious 6"

Yes, Fast & Furious 6 is here, and it appears that #7 is coming fast behind it. The most diverse movie cast in Hollywood is back, and larger than ever! Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson , Gal Gadot , Gina Carano , Jordana Brewster , Ludacris , Michelle Rodriguez , Paul Walker , Sung Kang , Tyrese Gibson , and Vin Diesel . So should we be salivating or dreading the extension of this unlikely action movie franchise?

Movie Review: "Star Trek Into Darkness"

The Star Trek reboot keeps going where no reboot has gone before! No other franchise reboot actually references the previously altered history (and that's because the previous Star Trek created a wholly new timeline -- you should check it out). Anyways, Star Trek Into Darkness is a much grimmer Trekker film, and stars the usual cast: Chris Pine as Captain James Tiberius Kirk Zachary Quinto as Commander Spock Zoe Saldana as Lieutenant Commander Nyota Uhura Karl Urban as Doctor Leonard "Bones" McCoy Simon Pegg as Chief Engineer Montgomery "Scotty" Scott John Cho as Lieutenant Commander Hikaru Sulu Anton Yelchin as Ensign Pavel Chekov With some new additions  Benedict Cumberbatch as John Harrison, and Peter Weller as Admiral Marcus.

Movie Review: "Cowboys & Aliens"

So, what do you get when you mix a cowboys and indians western, with some aliens, energy blasters, and spaceships? Cowboys & Aliens ! Sounds awesome right? Wrong.

Movie Review: "Iron Man 3"

The third (and final?) movie of Shellhead's trilogy -- Iron Man 3 was a visual and special effects masterpiece. Starring once again the usual cast of characters, namely  Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark/Iron Man, Gwyneth Paltrow as Pepper Potts, and Don Cheadle as Col. James Rhodes/War Machine/Iron Patriot; they are joined by two interesting new antagonists. Ben Kingsley as The Mandarin, and Guy Pearce as Aldrich Killian.

Movie Review: "Your Highness"

So what happens when you try to mimic the epic comedy/fantasy film The Princess Bride in this day and age? You get (unfortunately) Your Highness . It stars Danny McBride as the idiot prince, James Franco as the uber-heroic prince, Natalie Portman as  a warrior-babe, and Zooey Deschanel as the damsel-in-distress.
