Movie Review: "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug"

So it's part 2 of the Hobbit Trilogy, aka: the shortest book set in Middle Earth, which has inexplicably been stretched to the length of the Lord of the Rings Trilogy.

But I digress...

The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug stars the same (mostly short) heroes that were introduced in part 1: Ian McKellen (Gandalf), Martin Freeman (Bilbo), and Richard Armitage (Thorin).

Let me tell you, this movie need never have been made. This "trilogy" should have been a duology, tops! However money must be made, and so it was.

The only redeeming factors were that it is well acted, well shot, and the ELVES ARE FREAKING AWESOME.

That's all I have to say.

#WednesdayReviews: "Love Wedding Repeat"

I've no clue what this movie is about, but it's got Olivia Munn in it, and the trailer was nice enough, so I'm guessing its another inoffensive romantic-comedy. So it's time to Love Wedding Repeat . From Google: "Alternate versions of the same wedding unfold as Jack ( Sam Claflin ) tries to make sure his little sister has the perfect wedding day."
