Set in the 1970s, American Hustle is about a pair of con-artists (Christian Bale and Amy Adams) who have been recruited/entrapped by a (crazy?) FBI agent (Bradley Cooper).
His plan is to use them to catch even bigger fish.
Hilariousness ensues.
The secret weapon in this film is Jennifer Lawrence, whose performance is extremely impressive, in a movie where the major actors are all impressive.
So with great acting and an interesting story, I would say this movie is a GREAT WATCH.
