Cars 2 doesn't share a lot with the original Cars other than the cast of characters from Radiator Springs. In fact, should have been subtitled "The Rise of Mater", as this is his movie.

You may not know that The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is a remake of a (very recent) Swedish film , and should be  the first of the rest of that trilogy done in English. It stars Daniel Craig (my new favourite James Bond), and Rooney Mara  (as the titular character).

I am no longer a Nicholas Cage fan. Not after what he did to, and continues to do to Ghost Rider (among other movies). However, if you put him in an obviously over-the-top movie such as Drive Angry , suddenly he's perfectly suited to the role. Also, try to keep him surrounded by eye-candy like Amber Heard at all times!

The Adjustment Bureau may be one of the worst marketed movies of recent history. It stars Matt Damon , one of my favourite actors;  and yet when I first saw trailers for it, I said to myself, "This looks like crap."

When Final Destination debuted, it surprised everybody! Then they decided to give us a sequel with Final Destination 2 (a more final destination I guess). Okay, so by now everybody knew Death's formula when they sat down to watch Final Destination 3 -- no surprises were expected. But would we enjoy some caucasian teenagers dying in some new and (hopefully) interesting ways, without worrying about such extraneous extravagances such as plot or character development ?

Everybody loves horses, and I usually like horse movies even though I don't go out of my way to watch them. This was a good movie, period. Starring the great actors Diane Lane and John Malkovich , Secretariat is based on the true story of America's Super Horse -- one of the last to win the fabled " Triple Crown " of horse racing in the USA.

Exhibit A is a very shocking low budget, first person-ish, single-camera film. Very good acting.

This man should legally change his name to "Epic Win". - QBF

Bad Teacher is a Cameron Diaz comedy about a really, really, really, baaaaaaad teacher. My only wish is that she had made this movie YEARS ago when she was still looking cute. Granted her body looked good, but I'm sure this would've made even more money....

I was very conflicted as to whether I should provide legal patronage to The Amazing Spider-Man ... This was the same studio which had subjected me to Spider-Man  after all, with a climatic battle scene that literally put me to sleep. They followed this up with Spider-Man 2 , which should have ended the first time Dr Octopus got hit in the face by a man who can throw cars around . The  pièce de résistance  however was Spider-Man 3  -- which seemed to be 3 or 4 movies in one -- one of which was (no lie) a musical.
