#SundayReviews: "Anon"

Netflix with your mom on Mother's Day is different than the usual Netflix and chill . Nuff said. But since my mom is cooler than yours, I picked a sci-fi murder mystery for us to watch, another Netflix original by the name of Anon . From Google: "In the near future, private memories are recorded and crime has almost ceased to exist. But in trying to solve a series of murders, troubled detective Sal Frieland ( Clive Owen ) stumbles upon a young woman known only as "The Girl." ( Amanda Seyfried ) She has no identity, no history and is invisible to the cops. Sal realizes this may not be the end of crime, and it could be the beginning of it."

#SundayReviews: "Ant-Man and the Wasp"

The superhero who I said shouldn't have gotten a movie (and I was wrong) now has an inevitable sequel: Ant-Man and the Wasp ! Yep, the Marvel Movie Machine rolls on! From Google: "Scott Lang ( Paul Rudd ) is grappling with the consequences of his choices as both a superhero and a father. Approached by Hope van Dyne ( Evangeline Lilly ) and Dr. Hank Pym ( Michael Douglas ), Lang must once again don the Ant-Man suit and fight alongside the Wasp. The urgent mission soon leads to secret revelations from the past as the dynamic duo finds itself in an epic battle against a powerful new enemy."

#SundayReviews: "Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom"

Well they couldn't leave well enough alone, and so we have  Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom . What bad could come from every single time people messed with dinosaurs? From Google: "Three years after the destruction of the Jurassic World theme park, Owen Grady ( Chris Pratt ) and Claire Dearing ( Bryce Dallas Howard ) return to the island of Isla Nublar to save the remaining dinosaurs from a volcano that's about to erupt. They soon encounter terrifying new breeds of gigantic dinosaurs, while uncovering a conspiracy that threatens the entire planet."

#SundayReviews: "Incredibles 2"

It took 14 long years, but Pixar has finally released the sequel to the Fantastic F... I mean The Incredibles , with: Incredibles 2 ! From Google: "Everyone’s favorite family of superheroes is back in “Incredibles 2” – but this time Helen (voice of Holly Hunter ) is in the spotlight, leaving Bob (voice of Craig T. Nelson ) at home with Violet (voice of Sarah Vowell ) and Dash (voice of Huck Milner ) to navigate the day-to-day heroics of “normal” life. It’s a tough transition for everyone, made tougher by the fact that the family is still unaware of baby Jack-Jack’s emerging superpowers. When a new villain hatches a brilliant and dangerous plot, the family and Frozone (voice of Samuel L. Jackson ) must find a way to work together again—which is easier said than done, even when they’re all Incredible."

#SundayReviews: “The Lego Movie”

Everyone knows Lego . Those loveable bricks that hurt like heck when you step on them barefoot. And now there's a The Lego Movie ? How can this possibly be any good? I've heard good things about it though so I will give it a watch... From Google: "Emmet ( Chris Pratt ), an ordinary LEGO figurine who always follows the rules, is mistakenly identified as the Special -- an extraordinary being and the key to saving the world. He finds himself drafted into a fellowship of strangers who are on a mission to stop an evil tyrant's ( Will Ferrell ) plans to conquer the world. Unfortunately for Emmet, he is hopelessly -- and hilariously -- unprepared for such a task, but he'll give it his all nonetheless."
