Okay, first off: why are there no Persians in " Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time "? All the major roles are played by CAUCASIANS. It's not really called "Prince of Caucasia" is it? Because then the casting of Jake Gyllenhaal and Gemma Arterton would make a LOT more sense...  Now, for those who don't know this movie is based on the (AWESOME) old Prince of Persia video-games from the 1980s (which were re-made in the 2000s).

Okay, so " Man on a Ledge " stars Sam Worthington (of Avatar fame) and Ed Harris (of many movies fame) and is about something you'd never guess from the title. Just kidding.

This dark and very quirky comedy stars some name actors surprisingly ( Ethan Hawke and Vincent D'Onofrio for example), and they are not wasted upon the material. I came across this movie on DirecTV very late at night, and decided to give it a watch against my better judgment...

" The Sorcerer's Apprentice " is based loosely on a portion of the animated film " Fantasia " released by Disney way back in 1940. However, it had more of a background to flesh out than the " Pirates of the Caribbean " (seeing as that was based on an amusement park ride) -- but, remember I used the word "loosely".
