#SundayReviews: "Black Panther"

And so the Marvel movie machine rolls on, this time with the King of Wakanda, T'Challa... AKA: the Black Panther!

I always enjoyed this character in the comics, but I will admit I was never exposed to a lot of his stories growing up. However, I am heartened by all the hype and excitement this African super hero has garnered.

From Google:

"After the death of his father, T'Challa (Chadwick Boseman) returns home to the African nation of Wakanda to take his rightful place as king. When a powerful enemy suddenly reappears (Michael B. Jordan), T'Challa's mettle as king -- and as Black Panther -- gets tested when he's drawn into a conflict that puts the fate of Wakanda and the entire world at risk. Faced with treachery and danger, the young king must rally his allies and release the full power of Black Panther to defeat his foes and secure the safety of his people."

That was so f*cking good!

Great heroes and equally great villains in a story that makes you think.

Couple that with awesome visuals and truly great action scenes...

WAKANDA FOREVER!!

#WednesdayReviews: "Love Wedding Repeat"

I've no clue what this movie is about, but it's got Olivia Munn in it, and the trailer was nice enough, so I'm guessing its another inoffensive romantic-comedy. So it's time to Love Wedding Repeat . From Google: "Alternate versions of the same wedding unfold as Jack ( Sam Claflin ) tries to make sure his little sister has the perfect wedding day."
