Well, Disney has gone back into the vault to create a liver action version of the animated classic film The Lion King.

"Simba (Donald Glover) idolizes his father, King Mufasa (James Earl Jones), and takes to heart his own royal destiny on the plains of Africa. But not everyone in the kingdom celebrates the new cub's arrival. Scar (Chiwetel Ejiofor), Mufasa's brother -- and former heir to the throne -- has plans of his own. The battle for Pride Rock is soon ravaged with betrayal, tragedy and drama, ultimately resulting in Simba's exile. Now, with help from a curious pair of newfound friends (Billy Eichner & Seth Rogen), Simba must figure out how to grow up and take back what is rightfully his."
I thought it might suck to make a scene for scene remake, and I was bored at the beginning, but they turned it around.
Also, Timon & Pumbaa, and the hyenas, were even better than the originals!
Still a GOOD-ISH FAMILY MOVIE.
