#SundayReviews: "Den of Thieves"

How about a game of cops vs robbers writ large: Den of Thieves.

From Google:

"Nick O'Brien (Gerard Butler) is the hard-drinking leader of the Regulators, an elite unit of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. Ray Merrimen (Pablo Schreiber) is the recently paroled leader of the Outlaws, a gang of ex-military men who use their expertise and tactical skills to evade the law. O'Brien, Merrimen and their crews soon find themselves on a direct collision course as the criminals hatch an elaborate plan for a seemingly impossible heist -- the city's Federal Reserve Bank."

This was a very interesting premise that was poorly implemented. They should have had you conflicted as to which side you wanted to eventually prevail, but they immediately give you reasons to hate the robbers in the first five minutes.

Thereafter all the wrongdoings and bad behaviour of the police are no longer as important.

An OKAY MOVIE.

#WednesdayReviews: "Love Wedding Repeat"

I've no clue what this movie is about, but it's got Olivia Munn in it, and the trailer was nice enough, so I'm guessing its another inoffensive romantic-comedy. So it's time to Love Wedding Repeat . From Google: "Alternate versions of the same wedding unfold as Jack ( Sam Claflin ) tries to make sure his little sister has the perfect wedding day."
