Firstly let me just admit that I have never been enthused to watch Solo: A Star Wars Story, and that was before Kathleen Kennedy's regime began to set fire to my childhood.
I wanted a different actor (Ansel Elgort).
Then they ditched the original directors (Phil Lord and Christopher Miller) and replaced them with Ron Howard -- who I generally like -- but still, this reeked of desperation.
May the Force be with this movie.
From Google:
"Young Han Solo (Alden Ehrenreich) finds adventure when he joins a gang of galactic smugglers, including a 196-year-old Wookie named Chewbacca (Joonas Suotamo). Indebted to the gangster Dryden Vos (Paul Bettany), the crew devises a daring plan to travel to the mining planet Kessel to steal a batch of valuable coaxium. In need of a fast ship, Solo meets Lando Calrissian (Donald Glover), the suave owner of the perfect vessel for the dangerous mission -- the Millennium Falcon."
Well, I'll keep this short.
Never has a Star Wars movie BORED me.
The effects were good though, so I guess that counts for something.
WATCH IT ON NETFLIX.
QBF Rating: 2.0/5
PS: The Force was not with this movie.
