#SundayReviews: "Fast & Furious 8"

So Fast & Furious 8 or The Fate of the Furious is here to take all the money in China, and all the gang is back plus extras:

Vin Diesel, Jason Statham, Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Charlize Theron, Kurt Russell, and Nathalie Emmanuel.

From Google:

"With Dom and Letty married, Brian and Mia retired and the rest of the crew exonerated, the globe-trotting team has found some semblance of a normal life. They soon face an unexpected challenge when a mysterious woman named Cipher forces Dom to betray them all. Now, they must unite to bring home the man who made them a family and stop Cipher from unleashing chaos."

Well, it was better than Fast 7... Less madness (e.g. characters gaining superpowers or previously unrevealed super-assassin skills), and a more coherent plot.

However it suffers from some issues, like half the cast is superfluous, and the trailer (yeah that same one I linked above) gives away almost all the surprises that the damn film had to offer!

I liked that there is a lot more focus on certain characters though, who apparently will be getting a spin-off movie.

DON'T PAY MONEY for this movie, but it can watch. Especially avoid 3D pricing -- which is a rip-off -- because if you take off the glasses, only the far background gets blurry, while everything else remains in focus.

QBF Rating: 3.0/5

Somehow this movie slipped away from me in terms of big screen viewing, but I'll check it out when it hits the cloud

NSFW Monday!

Good Morning! This is the 21st, and last of my "Body-Painted Football Babes Bonanza" series. Perhaps more importantly however, the semi-finals begin tomorrow in the World Cup! So a hearty congratulations to the great teams who made it: Uruguay versus Netherlands Germany versus Spain They will play each other tomorrow and Wednesday respectively, but all signs point to Germany defeating the Netherlands in the final. Now, back to the babes! We have ladies representing the Italian Republic (the only returning champion I'd wager, to ever come dead last in the weakest group), and the Republic of Korea (South Korea -- who lost to Uruguay in the 2nd round). - QBF Spicy Meatball: Korea's Taekwan-Don't Stop!
