So it's time to review the prequel to Ouija (which I've only seen in a Cinema Sins on YouTube), Ouija: Origin of Evil.
The stars are: Annalise Basson, Elizabeth Reaser, Henry Thomas, and Lulu Wilson.
From Google:
"In 1967 Los Angeles, widowed mother Alice Zander unwittingly invites authentic evil into her home by adding a new stunt to bolster her séance scam business. When the merciless spirit overtakes her youngest daughter Doris, the small family must confront unthinkable fears to save her and send her possessor back to the other side."
So this movie was entertaining but not really scary for me, although quite a few ladies in the crowd were screaming for some of the scenes.
It even elicited some crowd participation ("No! Don't go down there!"), so that was cool.
It's a BASIC MOVIE that you can pass the time with, and snuggle up with a scaredy-cat (assuming you're not the scaredy-cat!).
PS: I would never have one of my kids play a creepy kid in a movie. They not coming home after that! HAHAHAHA!
