#MovieReview: "Doctor Strange"

Continuing the Marvel Cinematic Universe juggernaut, Benedict Cumberbatch assumes the titular role of Doctor Strange.

This film also stars the following excellent actors: Chiwetel Ejiofor (Mordo), Mads Mikkelsen (Kaecilius), Rachel McAdams (Christine Palmer), Benedict Wong (Wong), and Tilda Swinton (The Ancient One).

Can Benedict crossover from genius detective (Sherlock Holmes) to genius doctor/sorcerer?

From Google:

"Dr. Stephen Strange's life changes after a car accident robs him of the use of his hands. When traditional medicine fails him, he looks for healing, and hope, in a mysterious enclave. He quickly learns that the enclave is at the front line of a battle against unseen dark forces bent on destroying reality. Before long, Strange is forced to choose between his life of fortune and status or leave it all behind to defend the world as the most powerful sorcerer in existence."

Some of my friends said magic would never be in the MCU (*cough* Roger *cough*), but there is no Sorcerer Supreme without sorcery, AKA: magic, and trust me this movie was magical!

The special effects and fight scenes were good!

The humour was good!

Basically what I'm saying here is this is a GOOD WATCH.

#WednesdayReviews: "Love Wedding Repeat"

I've no clue what this movie is about, but it's got Olivia Munn in it, and the trailer was nice enough, so I'm guessing its another inoffensive romantic-comedy. So it's time to Love Wedding Repeat . From Google: "Alternate versions of the same wedding unfold as Jack ( Sam Claflin ) tries to make sure his little sister has the perfect wedding day."
