Movie Review: "God Bless America"

God Bless America is a very dark comedy, that seeks to hold a mirror up to the USA and highlight the glaringly terrible aspects of its culture.

Written and directed by Bobcat Goldthwait, it stars Joel Murray and Tara Lynne Barr as a non-couple that goes on a rampage across the country.

This kind of reminded me of the terrible Natural Born Killers, except that it was much less psychotic, had a plot, and didn't give me a splitting headache.

Also, I enjoyed it.

Nothing spectacular mind you, it's an OKAY MOVIE -- but it did make several nice points about Western society in general and the USA in particular.

#WednesdayReviews: "Love Wedding Repeat"

I've no clue what this movie is about, but it's got Olivia Munn in it, and the trailer was nice enough, so I'm guessing its another inoffensive romantic-comedy. So it's time to Love Wedding Repeat . From Google: "Alternate versions of the same wedding unfold as Jack ( Sam Claflin ) tries to make sure his little sister has the perfect wedding day."
