How come tablet computers have become such a huge hit? I recently got a Google/Asus Nexus 7 (2012) tablet, and life with it was good... But then I got access to a MacBook Air, and since then it is slowly gathering dust. Tablets are just inherently not as useful to a power-user such as myself. Hmmm, I think I just answered my own question. - QBF PS: The deathblow was when I got my HTC One for my really mobile computing needs.

Lee Daniels' The Butler is an interesting movie, and seems destined for major Oscar nominations (if you care about such things). More importantly, it gave an interesting view into the civil rights struggle in the USA from the 1920s up until the election of Barack Obama as president. This film stars Forest Whitaker , Oprah Winfrey , and David Oyelowo -- and they all put on excellent performances.
