The Purge stars Ethan Hawke (one of my favourite actors) and Lena Headey (who plays the bitch queen in Game of Thrones). It's basically set in a dystopian/utopian near-future where every year there is a twelve hour "Purge" where all crime is legal. Other than that small feature, the society seems to be doing quite fine, and the economy is booming.
How come people keep driving in the right lane on the highway, and they're not over-taking, or worse driving really slowly? Do people not know that the right lane is for overtaking? The Zombie Apocalypse is upon us! The Zombies are coming to get us! Again. Did we need another Zombie movie? Perhaps not, but World War Z is the best one since 28 Days Later , and the first to really depict it as a truly global conflict.
So here comes another DC Comics franchise reboot, following in the steps of Batman and (ugh) Green Lantern. Some say he's the most powerful superhero ever created. Others say he can leap tall buildings in a single bound, is faster than a speeding bullet, and more powerful than a locomotive. All I know is, we call him the Stig Man of Steel .
At first glance of the trailer, Now You See Me looked like rubbish. I mean seriously, magicians robbing a bank? However, they were merely setting you up for the real trick at that point. The actors are well cast, and do a superb job in this film: The Four Horsemen (Protagonists): Jesse Eisenberg , Woody Harrelson , Isla Fisher , and Dave Franco . The Moneyman: Michael Caine . The Debunker: Morgan Freeman . The Police (Antagonists): Mark Ruffalo , Melanie Laurent .
