#SundayReviews: "Knives Out"

So a new movie from the infamous writer/director Rian Johnson.

The mastermind of subverting expectations in The Last Jedi.

It's gotten good reviews, but will I still want to stab him after watching Knives Out?

From Google:

"A detective (Daniel Craig) and a trooper (LaKeith Stanfield) travel to a lush estate to interview the quirky relatives (Chris EvansJamie Lee CurtisMichael ShannonDon JohnsonToni ColletteKatherine LangfordRiki Lindhome, Jaeden Martell) of a patriarch (Christopher Plummer) who died during his 85th birthday celebration."

Well colour my (low) expectations subverted.

Who knew that actually making a good movie is the best subversion?!

I enjoyed the acting, plot, and dialogue in this intriguing murder-mystery.

VERY WATCHABLE.

#WednesdayReviews: "Love Wedding Repeat"

I've no clue what this movie is about, but it's got Olivia Munn in it, and the trailer was nice enough, so I'm guessing its another inoffensive romantic-comedy. So it's time to Love Wedding Repeat . From Google: "Alternate versions of the same wedding unfold as Jack ( Sam Claflin ) tries to make sure his little sister has the perfect wedding day."
