In the current USA, can you be Black and Blue?
Or do you have to choose one side to defend over the other?
From Google:
"A rookie policewoman (Naomie Harris) in New Orleans inadvertently captures the shooting death of a young drug dealer on her body cam. After realizing the murder was committed by corrupt cops, she teams up with the only person from the community (Tyrese Gibson) who's willing to help her. Now, she finds herself on the run from both the vengeful criminals (Mike Colter) and the lawmen (Frank Grillo) who desperately want to destroy the incriminating footage."
It's kinda like a simplified Training Day, but this one addresses slightly different real world issues where many communities (and the police departments that serve them) view their interactions as "us versus them".
The acting isn't spectacular, but the action isn't bad, and it's a NICE POPCORN FLICK.
