#SundayReviews: "Maleficent: Mistress of Evil"

Your favourite "wicked" fairy turned "good" through the power of love is back in Maleficent: Mistress of Evil.

Hmm, I think the power of love ran out of juice -- judging from the title!

From Google:

"Maleficent (Angelina Jolie) travels to a grand old castle to celebrate young Aurora's (Elle Fanning) upcoming wedding to Prince Phillip (Harris Dickinson). While there, she meets Aurora's future mother-in-law (Michelle Pfeiffer) -- a conniving queen who hatches a devious plot to destroy the land's fairies. Hoping to stop her, Maleficent joins forces with a seasoned warrior and a group of outcasts to battle the queen and her powerful army."

Reviewer's Note: I missed a small part the beginning.

I enjoyed this movie, up until the ending when it makes a hard right turn from a dark children's movie back into a lovey-dovey, traditional Disney fairy-tale.

I was left disappointed, but from the reaction of the kids in the audience I realized I am not the target of the movie.

A GOOD FAMILY MOVIE.

#WednesdayReviews: "Love Wedding Repeat"

I've no clue what this movie is about, but it's got Olivia Munn in it, and the trailer was nice enough, so I'm guessing its another inoffensive romantic-comedy. So it's time to Love Wedding Repeat . From Google: "Alternate versions of the same wedding unfold as Jack ( Sam Claflin ) tries to make sure his little sister has the perfect wedding day."
