First you had Godzilla, then you had Kong: Skull Island, so next in the Monsterverse is Godzilla: King of the Monsters.
From Google:
"Members of the crypto-zoological agency Monarch face off against a battery of god-sized monsters, including the mighty Godzilla, who collides with Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, the three-headed King Ghidorah. When these ancient super-species-thought to be mere myths-rise again, they all vie for supremacy, leaving humanity's very existence hanging in the balance."
Well, that was disappointing. Something just seemed off with this movie, as if some integral scenes were missing? By integral I mean the characters all react as if something was said or happened, which was never shown to the audience.
The monsters were cool I guess, but I preferred the monster battles from both Pacific Rim movies, honestly.
Also, there were no surprises in this movie; every gotcha moment was telegraphed... And the MacGuffin driving the plot is made out of indestructible materials!
