#SundayReview: "The Nun"

So my horror-loving friend wanted to watch The Nun, and I got roped in. This is part of the series of horror movies that started with The Conjuring (The Conjuring Universe).

From Google:

"When a young nun (Taissa Farmiga) at a cloistered abbey in Romania takes her own life, a priest (Demian Bichir) with a haunted past and a novitiate on the threshold of her final vows are sent by the Vatican to investigate. Together, they uncover the order's unholy secret. Risking not only their lives but their faith and their very souls, they confront a malevolent force in the form of a demonic nun (Bonnie Aarons)."

This movie was more sizzle than steak, the sense of dread is layered quite well, however the true scares are not really there.

It does have a cool, creepy start, and some really funny lines.

People actually don't do many stupid things!

It CAN WATCH, even if you're a scaredy-cat.

QBF Rating: 2.5/5

#WednesdayReviews: "Love Wedding Repeat"

I've no clue what this movie is about, but it's got Olivia Munn in it, and the trailer was nice enough, so I'm guessing its another inoffensive romantic-comedy. So it's time to Love Wedding Repeat . From Google: "Alternate versions of the same wedding unfold as Jack ( Sam Claflin ) tries to make sure his little sister has the perfect wedding day."
