#SundayReviews: "Alita: Battle Angel"

It's time for a James Cameron passion-project (which he didn't care enough to direct), namely Alita: Battle Angel. This is based on the manga Battle Angel Alita, and will basically be live-action anime.

As long as it's better than the Ghost in the Shell live action movie!

From Google:

"Set several centuries in the future, the abandoned Alita (Rosa Salazar) is found in the scrapyard of Iron City by Ido (Christoph Waltz), a compassionate cyber-doctor who takes the unconscious cyborg Alita to his clinic. When Alita awakens, she has no memory of who she is, nor does she have any recognition of the world she finds herself in. As Alita learns to navigate her new life and the treacherous streets of Iron City, Ido tries to shield her from her mysterious past."

Well, Alita is a baaaaad b*tch.

I thought this was gonna be a kid friendly movie because I wasn't familiar with the property. Boy, was I wrong.

People. Dead. DEAD!

The action scenes were on point (you will probably rail up at least a couple times), and except for some excessive sappiness near the ending I really enjoyed this flick.

Definitely WATCHABLE.

#WednesdayReviews: "Love Wedding Repeat"

I've no clue what this movie is about, but it's got Olivia Munn in it, and the trailer was nice enough, so I'm guessing its another inoffensive romantic-comedy. So it's time to Love Wedding Repeat . From Google: "Alternate versions of the same wedding unfold as Jack ( Sam Claflin ) tries to make sure his little sister has the perfect wedding day."
