Aquaman?

Can DC pull a Marvel and bring a marginal comic character to the big screen and make a splash?

Pun intended!

"Once home to the most advanced civilization on Earth, the city of Atlantis is now an underwater kingdom ruled by the power-hungry King Orm (Patrick Wilson). With a vast army at his disposal, Orm plans to conquer the remaining oceanic people -- and then the surface world. Standing in his way is Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Orm's half-human, half-Atlantean brother and true heir to the throne. With help from royal counselor Vulko (Willem Dafoe), Aquaman must retrieve the legendary Trident of Atlan and embrace his destiny as protector of the deep."



Well damn! Aquaman is a bad mother... shut your mouth!

This had some awesome visual effects, locations, and underwater action scenes!

If I had to compare this to other movies, I would say it's part: Thor Ragnarok, Black Panther, Indiana Jones, and Jason Bourne. Quite a mix, and they pulled it off!

One more that I've missed. I have it in my watchlist. I wasn't expecting it to be good, but you and others have been saying it's pretty good. So I need to get to Carib!
