#SundayReviews: "The Huntsman: Winter's War"

I was very hesitant to watch The Huntsman: Winter's War, since it was the sequel to Snow White and the Huntsman. Fast forward a few years, and I'm certain that Kristen Stewart is nowhere near involved in any fashion, so I gave it a shot.

From Google:

"Betrayed by her evil sister Ravenna (Charlize Theron), heartbroken Freya (Emily Blunt) retreats to a northern kingdom to raise an army of huntsmen as her protectors. Gifted with the ability to freeze her enemies in ice, Freya teaches her young soldiers to never fall in love. When Eric (Chris Hemsworth) and fellow warrior Sara (Jessica Chastain) defy this rule, the angry queen does whatever she can to stop them. As war between the siblings escalates, Eric and Sara try to end Ravenna's wicked reign."

This was actually a cool movie.

Sure it's a simple tale, but aren't all fairy tales?

You can also see the swagger and comedic timing that Chris would eventually apply to his Thor character in the MCU -- so that's another plus for this movie existing.

Nice action scenes and cool special effects abound.

Definitely CAN WATCH.

NSFW Monday!

Good Morning! This is the 21st, and last of my "Body-Painted Football Babes Bonanza" series. Perhaps more importantly however, the semi-finals begin tomorrow in the World Cup! So a hearty congratulations to the great teams who made it: Uruguay versus Netherlands Germany versus Spain They will play each other tomorrow and Wednesday respectively, but all signs point to Germany defeating the Netherlands in the final. Now, back to the babes! We have ladies representing the Italian Republic (the only returning champion I'd wager, to ever come dead last in the weakest group), and the Republic of Korea (South Korea -- who lost to Uruguay in the 2nd round). - QBF Spicy Meatball: Korea's Taekwan-Don't Stop!
