Ding-ding! It's round two for Adonis Creed, AKA: Creed II!
From Google:
"In 1985, Russian boxer Ivan Drago (Dolph Lundgren) killed former U.S. champion Apollo Creed (Carl Weathers) in a tragic match that stunned the world. Against the wishes of trainer Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone), Apollo's son Adonis Johnson (Michael B. Jordan) accepts a challenge from Drago's son (Florian Munteanu) -- another dangerous fighter. Under guidance from Rocky, Adonis trains for the showdown of his life -- a date with destiny that soon becomes his obsession. Now, Johnson and Balboa must confront their shared legacy as the past comes back to haunt each man."
I'm gonna keep this short and sweet.
This was a good movie, but not great like the first instalment.
Probably because Sylvester Stallone was an ungrateful b*tch (look it up), and so Ryan Coogler pretty much left this film alone and kept his cinematic magic to himself.
VERY WATCHABLE, but it could have been a champion.
