#SundayReviews: "The Foreigner"

Well I guess it's Jackie Chan's turn to pull a Liam Neeson and play the super bad-ass brought out of retirement by tragic circumstances, and become a one man wrecking crew in The Foreigner (co-starring Pierce Brosnan).

From Google:

"Quan is a humble London businessman whose long-buried past erupts in a revenge-fuelled vendetta when the only person left for him to love -- his teenage daughter -- dies in a senseless act of politically motivated terrorism. His relentless search to find the terrorists leads to a cat-and-mouse conflict with a British government official whose own past may hold the clues to the identities of the elusive killers."

This movie was entertaining, and it was very interesting seeing the behind the scenes of the Ireland-United Kingdom tensions.

Something did seem missing from it though, nonetheless it was cool seeing Jackie Chan not cracking jokes or falling over in every fight.

#WednesdayReviews: "Love Wedding Repeat"

I've no clue what this movie is about, but it's got Olivia Munn in it, and the trailer was nice enough, so I'm guessing its another inoffensive romantic-comedy. So it's time to Love Wedding Repeat . From Google: "Alternate versions of the same wedding unfold as Jack ( Sam Claflin ) tries to make sure his little sister has the perfect wedding day."
