Ryan Reynolds, Samuel L. Jackson and Gary Oldman star in The Hitman's Bodyguard. Granted, this is a silly title for a movie, but I have been reliably informed that a silly title doesn't necessarily mean the movie will suck.
In fact, my friends highly recommended it!
So off to the cinema I go...
From Google:
"The world's top protection agent is called upon to guard the life of his mortal enemy, one of the world's most notorious hit men. The relentless bodyguard and manipulative assassin have been on the opposite end of the bullet for years and are thrown together for a wildly outrageous 24 hours. During their journey from England to the Hague, they encounter high-speed car chases, outlandish boat escapades and a merciless Eastern European dictator who is out for blood."
This movie was well on its way to earning a 3.5/5 rating, until the last act that is.
Before that the action and comedy were on fire, and perfectly balanced. However, then the writers were kidnapped or killed or went on strike, thus plunging the movie a notch.
STILL WATCHABLE but only on cable.
QBF Rating: 3.0/5
