#SundayReviews: "Baby Driver"

So after my brother calls me from overseas on my birthday, and mentions that I have to checkout this film called Baby Driver, you know I gotta roll out ASAP to give it a check right?

It has been getting good buzz and excellent reviews and has both an interesting director (Edgar Wright) and cast: Ansel Elgort, Jon Bernthal, Jon Hamm, Eiza Gonzalez, Lily James, Kevin Spacey, and Jamie Foxx.

From Google:

"Talented getaway driver Baby relies on the beat of his personal soundtrack to be the best in the game. After meeting the woman of his dreams, he sees a chance to ditch his shady lifestyle and make a clean break. Coerced into working for a crime boss, Baby must face the music as a doomed heist threatens his life, love and freedom."

This was motion picture art.

I feel I need to rewatch this movie a couple more times to capture everything that was on display.

Baby. Can. Drive.

This movie shot! I loved the action, the dialogue, the soundtrack, the humour, the themes...

Just a well-crafted movie.

QBF Rating: 4.5/5

PS: My favourite YouTube reviewer Beyond The Trailer said that Ansel Elgort should have gotten the role of the young Han Solo, and after watching this she was so right!

The Great Way is not difficult for those who have no preferences.
When love and hate are both absent everything becomes clear and undisguised.
Make the smallest distinction however and heaven and earth are set infinitely apart.
