#MovieReview: "Straight Outta Compton"

N.W.A.

Niggas With Attitude.

Rap music has been shaped by their songs and the artists they brought along after themselves, but what do you know about their origin story? Probably as much (or as little) as I did, so it's time to go back in time to the 1980s and Straight Outta Compton.

Starring O'Shea Jackson Jr (Ice Cube's own son playing him -- trippy!), Corey Hawkins, Jason Mitchell, and the sickest soundtrack.

This was a cool, fun movie (groupies!) and very nostalgic (for me). It was interesting to see some of the major figures in Hip-Hop's humble beginnings. (Suge Knight was a body guard!)

I got to hear some really good tunes from my youth when I was pretty much just learning to appreciate rap music.

And of course, you will see the same repugnant police behaviour that lead to the #BlackLivesMatter movement right now in the USA.

VERY WATCHABLE.

#WednesdayReviews: "Love Wedding Repeat"

I've no clue what this movie is about, but it's got Olivia Munn in it, and the trailer was nice enough, so I'm guessing its another inoffensive romantic-comedy. So it's time to Love Wedding Repeat . From Google: "Alternate versions of the same wedding unfold as Jack ( Sam Claflin ) tries to make sure his little sister has the perfect wedding day."
