#MovieReview: "Mad Max: Fury Road"

So, a good friend of mine classified this as a GREAT visual movie.

Can Mad Max: Fury Road live up to his hype, or will my reaction be more like my brother who left the theatre early and said it resembled a music video?

Starring Charlize Theron as Imperator Furiosa, it co-stars Tom Hardy as Mad Max (yes, in his own movie), Nicholas Hoult as Nux, and Hugh Keays-Byrne as Immortan Joe.

It's back to the Australian Apocalypse!

While it certainly doesn't warrant the exuberant praise that the critics have showered it with, Fury Road is the best 80s action movie ever made. Maybe I would have enjoyed it more if I watched it on the big screen, but such was not the case.

The action and stunts were cool, but the basic plot was super basic, and really dumb if you stop to think about it too long.

However, it's a VERY WATCHABLE action flick, so turn off your mind before the opening credits.

QBF Rating: 3.5/5

PS: Early in the movie really does remind me of a music video..

#WednesdayReviews: "Love Wedding Repeat"

I've no clue what this movie is about, but it's got Olivia Munn in it, and the trailer was nice enough, so I'm guessing its another inoffensive romantic-comedy. So it's time to Love Wedding Repeat . From Google: "Alternate versions of the same wedding unfold as Jack ( Sam Claflin ) tries to make sure his little sister has the perfect wedding day."
