So I've decided to re-watch the Star Wars series in its entirety... well, almost entirely.
I'm doing them in the Machete Order, which goes as follows:
- Episode 4 - A New Hope
- Episode 5 - The Empire Strikes Back
- Episode 2 - Attack of the Clones
- Episode 3 - Revenge of the Sith
- Episode 6 - Return of the Jedi
Yes it's only 5 of the 6 movies, with Episode 1 - The Phantom Menace (QBF Rating 3.0/5) getting the shaft for a number of reasons (e.g. Jar Jar Binks and a crappy plot) despite it having the best fight sequence in my opinion with Darth Maul.
Now back to the original that started it all... A New Hope!
It was really cool watching it again, even if the Special Edition made a particular change NO ONE WANTED (Han shot first!).
I felt like a kid again, experiencing the sadness, exhilaration and dread as our heroes (Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Princess Leia, Chewbacca, and Obi-Wan/Ben Kenobi) struggled against Darth Vader and The Empire.
STILL ONE OF THE BEST.
