Movie Review: "The Amazing Spider-Man 2"

Well The Amazing Spider-Man 2 came out with some big shoes to fill. The first instalment erased the Sam Raimi trilogy of pain from my brain quite effectively, could this continue where that left off?

Starring Andrew Garfield (Spider-Man), Emma Stone (Damsel-in-Distress), Jamie Foxx (Electro), and Dane Dehaan (Green Goblin) we have a much more packed cast of characters.

Now I don't want to give away as many spoilers as the trailers apparently did, so how do I say this...

This movie moved away from realism in relation to physics (and I'm saying this as a fan of super-hero movies), and also in relation to the reactions of people to incredible things happening around them.

The action scenes were AWESOME and very entertaining, however it lost major points for wastefully putting 2 movies in one in Sony's rush to build up a Spiderman Universe to rival Marvel's Avengers Universe.

It should have been awesome, but ended up as just okay because they stubbed their toes too many times in the execution.

QBF Rating: 3.0/5

PS: The Rhino is silly.

#WednesdayReviews: "Love Wedding Repeat"

I've no clue what this movie is about, but it's got Olivia Munn in it, and the trailer was nice enough, so I'm guessing its another inoffensive romantic-comedy. So it's time to Love Wedding Repeat . From Google: "Alternate versions of the same wedding unfold as Jack ( Sam Claflin ) tries to make sure his little sister has the perfect wedding day."
