Part comedy, part action-adventure movie, I give you: Jack the Giant Slayer.
Starring Nicholas Hoult (as Jack), Eleanor Tomlinson (as Princess Isabelle), Ewan McGregor (as Sir Elmont), and Stanley Tucci (as Lord Roderick).
Despite this movie featuring some clueless/simple-minded people, and some truly fantastic physics, this was a fun enough movie.
Nothing breath-taking, but a decent effort.
I feel that a darker version with hints of humour would have been oh so much more awesome, instead of this humorous depiction with hints of darkness.
