Justice League: War is an epic retelling of the formation of the greatest super hero team in DC Comics (and all comics for that matter) history -- the Justice League.
All the greats are accounted for and updated for the 21st century: Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Flash, Cyborg, and Captain Marvel.
Now, only a credible threat could bring together such a band of mighty mortals (sorry, I couldn't resist), and that would be in the form of an invasion of the planet by Darkseid.
I really enjoyed the updates to the characters, that we weren't bogged down with origin stories for everyone involved, and they didn't hesitate to take out the enemy.
All in all, a VERY GOOD MOVIE.
