Movie Review: "Gangster Squad"

Gangster Squad is set in Los Angeles after World War II, and involves a group of cops (led by Josh Brolin and Ryan Gosling) tasked with taking down the city's big, bad, mob boss Micky Cohen (played by Sean Penn).

Oh, and there is some nice eye candy provided by Emma Stone.

While this is not the most original screenplay, and starts to remind me of The Untouchables and L.A. Confidential at some points, it is an ENJOYABLE WATCH nonetheless.

#WednesdayReviews: "Love Wedding Repeat"

I've no clue what this movie is about, but it's got Olivia Munn in it, and the trailer was nice enough, so I'm guessing its another inoffensive romantic-comedy. So it's time to Love Wedding Repeat . From Google: "Alternate versions of the same wedding unfold as Jack ( Sam Claflin ) tries to make sure his little sister has the perfect wedding day."
