Movie Review: "Astonishing X-Men: Gifted"

Taken from the critically lauded plot of the comic book series, Astonishing X-Men: Gifted doesn't feature your usual team of merry mutants.

Sure you've got Beast, Cyclops and Wolverine -- but unless you've been keeping up with the X-Men, you would probably be surprised to see Emma Frost (White Queen) and Kitty Pryde (Shadowcat) on the roster.

While this was a nice enough show (and very adult Marvel Knights fare), you can tell that it's part of a much larger story -- so that kind of limits its enjoyment as a standalone feature.

However, the interaction and banter between team members is priceless! (Thank you Joss Whedon.)

My final verdict is that it's still NICE TO WATCH!

QBF Rating: 3.5/5

#WednesdayReviews: "Love Wedding Repeat"

I've no clue what this movie is about, but it's got Olivia Munn in it, and the trailer was nice enough, so I'm guessing its another inoffensive romantic-comedy. So it's time to Love Wedding Repeat . From Google: "Alternate versions of the same wedding unfold as Jack ( Sam Claflin ) tries to make sure his little sister has the perfect wedding day."
