You Oughta Know: Windows Optimisation

Okay I lied, I still haven't given you the 411 on Internet Programs as yet. This week though I'm introducing you to FREE Productivity Programs which you probably never heard of, to make your Microsoft Windows experience that much better.

Productivity Programs:

  1. Arduo PDF Merger - Allows you to split/merge PDF files.
  2. doPDF Free PDF Converter - Create PDFs easily.
  3. Foxit Reader - BEST PDF viewer. If you're using Adobe Acrobat, hit yourself. Repeatedly.
  4. LibreOffice - Almost all you want from Microsoft Office, but for free.
  5. Microsoft Money Plus Sunset - Microsoft Money isn't being sold anymore -- bad for them, but good for you to track your finances!
Next week's topic will be Internet Programs. I swear. - QBF

PS: Honorable mentions go out to Microsoft Outlook 2010 (best contact management that I can find), and Quicken (the program that killed Microsoft Money) which are stuff you'll have to pay for.

PPS: Checkout cnet's Download.com for more great programs (all verified free of viruses/malware).

NSFW Monday!

Good Morning! This is the 21st, and last of my "Body-Painted Football Babes Bonanza" series. Perhaps more importantly however, the semi-finals begin tomorrow in the World Cup! So a hearty congratulations to the great teams who made it: Uruguay versus Netherlands Germany versus Spain They will play each other tomorrow and Wednesday respectively, but all signs point to Germany defeating the Netherlands in the final. Now, back to the babes! We have ladies representing the Italian Republic (the only returning champion I'd wager, to ever come dead last in the weakest group), and the Republic of Korea (South Korea -- who lost to Uruguay in the 2nd round). - QBF Spicy Meatball: Korea's Taekwan-Don't Stop!
