Okay, so the results are in for the Jamaica Blog Awards, and yours truly has made it to the Top 5 in both of my nominated categories: "Best Entertainment Blog" and "Readers' Choice"!!I'm very happy with this development of course, and hope that the judges will look favourably upon my site during their assessment period (January 4th - 11th), so that I can sweep my two categories -- ah, a guy can dream can't he?
Well, I hope to have more great news to share on January 16th, but even if I don't win it all, I'm QUITE pleased with what I've accomplished so far. This is an awesome start for 2011, so thanks to those who voted for me, and thanks to all of you who checked out my work! - QBF
PS: Congratulations also to Ishka Designs for reaching the Top 5 in "Best Overseas Jamaica Blog"; she has a really great design blog that I'm sure you would enjoy perusing.
PPS: Congratulations to the Adventures of Mamachel for reaching the Top 5 in FOUR categories: "Best Lifestyle Blog", "Best Personal Blog", "Top Blog Post for 2010", and "Readers' Choice"! Of course, I wish her all the best in the three categories we don't share. LOL. But seriously, she has a great site that is continuously being improved, so check her out as well.
